The Eiffel Tower went dark on Thursday to honor those who lost their lives in the terror attack in Paris at the offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

Masked gunmen, who are still on the loose, shot and killed 12 people on Wednesday, including two police officers, various prominent cartoonists and the magazine’s editor in chief
