The Apple Music /Taylor Swift courtship took another turn on Thursday.

This time, the world’s biggest music star decided to bring 1989 to Apple Music , after all.

This caps off a week of Taylor vs. Apple Music controversy. On Friday, Swift’s label confirmed that 1989 would not be on Apple Music. We speculated this had more to do with windowing rather than anything else, but Swift upped the ante on Sunday by penning an open letter to Apple asking that it pay artists during its three-month free trial period.
